Raymond J. Ingenthron, 89, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Midland Hospice House.

Raymond was born in Topeka, on March 24, 1916, to the late Lawrence and Mary (Stramel) Ingenthron.

Mr. Ingenthron served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a prisoner of war for two years at Staleg 7A and was awarded two Purple Hearts.

Raymond married Dorothy Boner on Sept. 2, 1937. She passed away on Aug 5, 1995.

He was a life member of the Elk Lodge 888 in Long Beach, CA. Raymonds career was in automobile sales. He moved back to Topeka in 1997.

Raymond was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Ingenthron, and a sister, Laurine Desch. Survivors include six nieces and nephews, eight great-nieces and nephews, and six great-great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Friday, March 24, 2006 at 1:30 at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka, KS 66614. Raymond was cremated and will later be inurned with his wife in Long Beach, CA.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Midland Hospice or a donation for a Mass intention sent in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.
