Laurie A. Lash, 48, of Smiths Creek, died Monday, July 23, 2012.
She was born January 9, 1964 in Port Huron to Daniel and Laura Tipa. She married Terrance Lash on October 18, 1986 in Port Huron.
Laurie was employed with Tractor Supply Company and for many years also worked part-time for Parrish Farm and Greenhouse. She loved to tend her flowers, make floral arrangements and decorate her Christmas tree every year.
She is survived by her husband, Terrance; four children, Tawny, Steven, Amanda and Melissa Lash; granddaughter, Peytyn; parents, Daniel and Laura Tipa; sisters, Mary (Perry Barbe) Tipa and Carol (Dale) Wehner; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stan (Carolyn) Lash; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of adoptive family who lovingly called her "mom."
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church. The Reverend John W. Hitzeroth will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
