A native of Staten Island, she entered the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne in 1969 after working as a secretary for Texaco in Manhattan for 29 years. She professed vows in 1971, and earned her license as a practical nurse in 1976.
She served at St. Rose's Home and at homes run by the congregation in St. Paul, Atlanta and Cleveland. She returned to Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne in 1995.
A Funeral Mass was offered July 16 in Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Rosary Hill, with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
