Sister Ursula Baumann, O.S.U., a treasurer of several Ursuline ministries, died Sept. 2 at St. John's Hospital in Yonkers. She was 90.

She also served in various positions at the College of New Rochelle, including treasurer of the college in 1961 and business manager from 1962 to 1965. She taught mathematics there from 1948 until 1961, during which time she also was assistant dean, 1950 to 1956, and administrative assistant, 1956-1958.

She was appointed provincial treasurer in 1966, and also was assistant mistress of novices to 1971. She was general treasurer at the Ursuline Generalate in Rome, 1971-1973. Returning to the United States, she served until 1980 as assistant in financial planning for the schools and parishes in the Diocese of Brooklyn, and was an adjunct professor of accounting at Pace University, 1983 to 1990.

She also served as treasurer to the Conference of Regional Treasurers of New York, 1966-1971, and was treasurer of the St. Teresa's community in New Rochelle. She was on the faculty at Fordham University and Franklin College in Switzerland, and served in the Development Office of the College of New Rochelle, 1990-1994.

From 1995 to 2004, she was chaplain at New York United Hospital Medical Center in Port Chester, a computer teacher at St. Pius X School, Scarsdale, 1995-2000, and gave tutoring services until she retired in 2005.

Born in Manhattan, she entered the Ursulines in 1943 and professed final vows in 1948.

She was a graduate of the Ursuline School in New Rochelle, where she later served on the board of trustees, 1996-1999. She earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the College of New Rochelle, a master's degree in mathematics from Fordham University and a master's in business management from the University of Omaha in Nebraska.

A Funeral Mass was offered Sept. 6 in Holy Family Chapel at the College of New Rochelle, with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle.
