Grand Jury Indicts Chandlers
The Grand Jury today returned an indictment against Mrs. Stella Chandler and her stepson Moses Chandler, charging both with incest. Each plead not guilty before Judge Martin this afternoon. The trial for Moses was set for Thursday. Mrs, Chandler was married when only 15 years old to her present husband who is 60 years old. The stepson is older than the step-mother.

The complaint states that they were married in Monroe County in January 1893 and separated 1 May 1902.
The Plaintiff charges his wife with improper relations with other men.
During their marriage three children were born to the couple, as follows; Birdie Mae, William Riley Jr., and Goldie Fern Chandler. The plaintiff asks for the care of the minor children and a divorce from his wife. East & East are bringing the suit.
