On April 24, 1834, she married Lewis Allen. Lewis and Sarah lived in Schenectady, New York, and had at least seven children together; Huldah, Sarah, John, William, Charles, Johnson, and James Allen. All but Huldah, William, and James died during childhood, with Sarah Allen dying on July 26, 1849.
