ALAN L. UETZ
MINNEAPOLIS - Alan L. Uetz, 39, of 4821 Bryant Ave S., went to be with the Lord on Sunday (Sept. 24, 2000) as a result of cardiac arrest.
He was a loving husband, tender father and faithful friend.
Alan was born Jan. 12, 1961, in Charles City. He graduated from Charles City High School in 1979 and graduated from the University of Iowa Law School in 1986.
He was currently employed as an employee relations manager for Dayton Hudson/Target Corporation.
On Oct. 28, 1989, he was united in marriage to Lisa Broek. They were blessed with two sons, Maxwell and Austin.
Alan enjoyed all types of competitive sports. He especially liked to participate in Frisbee golf, canoeing and camping. He also enjoyed traveling.
Those thankful for having shared his life are his wife, Lisa; and sons, Maxwell, age 5 and Austin, age 3; parents, Alvin and Sharon Uetz; grandmother, Mildred Kruse; and sisters, Julie (Kevin) Endelman and Jill Uetz; a nephew, Levi Endelman. He is also survived by many loving and special uncles, aunts and cousins and a multitude of friends. He will be sadly missed.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Stacie Lynn; his grandparents; and one aunt.
Memorial services will be held 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Riverside Church, 10200 Nicollet Ave. S., Bloomington, Minn.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Charles City.
