Funeral services for Terri Hearn will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hauser
Funeral Home. Pastor Kent Sovine of Bethany Alliance Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday
an hour prior to the service.
Terri Kae Cowell Hearn was born December 22, 1959, at Charles City, the daughter
of Allen and Joan (Krumrey) Cowell. She attended Charles City High School. For
15 years she worked for Cummins Filtration in Lake Mills, enjoying every minute
of it. She enjoyed crocheting blankets and sweaters, reading, walking, dancing,
cooking, baking and her dog Marly. Terri looked forward to spending time with
her family especially her grandchildren and going to family gatherings.
Living family members include three children, Aranda Cowell and friend Cory
Poyner of Charles City, Kenny (Kourtney) Hearn of Dougherty and Sami (Darren)
Freerks of Dumont; seven grandchildren, Caedyn Apel, Kaeleigh Cowell, Kale
Hearn, Kody Hearn, Kenny Hearn, Jr., Novalee Freerks and Connor Freerks; her
mother, Joan Cowell of Charles City; two sisters, Cindy (Tim) Kielman of
Phoenix, AZ and Ramona (Doug) Bailey of Charles City; a brother, James (Katie)
Cowell of Charles City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, a twin sister, Toni Harris and fiancé,
Neil Vest.
