My Grandmother whom I met in 1980 for the first time. I'll never forget when she tried Vegemite and instead of spreading it on the bread she had a table spoon full, which lovers of vegemite know a little bit goes a long way, and said its good ! I really didnt get to know her well because of the language difference but I do know she liked a good gossip, she was a hard worker and a much loved mother. My father was tied to her apron strings and always had to know where she was even as a young man when he would come home from work if she wasnt there he would go looking for her. If must have been heart breaking not to have been with her when she died but now they are together forever.
She married Mihaly Kovaly in 1930 and had 4 children Istvan 1931 died 1985, Laszlo 1933 died 2000, Miklos 1935 died 1998 and Borbara 1940.
