Ella Crane Guillot, a resident of Westminister Village, Spanish Fort, AL, died on Friday, October 5, 2012, at the age of 105 years.

Mrs. Guillot was born in Daphne, AL on July 25, 1907 to Samuel and Ella Crane. She was the last remaining child of 10 children. She was raised in Stockton, AL, where she graduated from high school in 1928. She attended 20th Century Business College in Mobile and worked in Mobile until she married in 1937. She was a life long member of the Presbyterian Church where she taught for 40 years. After moving to Spanish Fort in 1968, she became a member of Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church. She was inducted as an honorary life member of Presbyterian Women Organization. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Stockton Chapter #42 and became an honorary member at age 100. She was a wonderful chef and was still active in baking, canning preserves, and jelly making until she was 100 years old.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph L. Guillot. She is survived by four nephews, Sam Crane of Stockton, AL, Jimmy Crane of Dalton, GA, Benjie Crane of Bay Minette, AL, Ray Crane of Columbus, MS, five nieces, Willie Mae Allen of Mobile, AL, Virginia Hudson of Citronelle, AL, Dorothy Crane of Mobile, AL, Betty Gulley of Saraland, AL, and Jackie Davenport of Semmes, AL. She is also survived by three generations of great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne, AL on Sunday, October 7, 2012, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church on Monday, October 8, 2012, at 10:00 am.

Pallbearers will be Sam Crane, Jimmy Crane, Benjie Crane, Ray Crane, Bill Davenport, Bobby Gulley, and Bryan Guillot. Honorary pallbearers will be Cy Avery, Joe Andress, AW Ferguson, Tap Neese, and the Path Finders Sunday School Class.

Interment will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Westminister Village and Community Hospice for the wonderful loving care shown for Aunt Ella.
