He was predeceased by his mother, Janet Mae Knickman Allers. He was survived by his father, William Alvin Allers Jr; his wife; one son; his grandmother; two brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 3, 2005, at Mountain Christian Church. Interment on October 4, 2005.
