Mrs. Mary C. Hinamon, 89, widow of David M. Hinamon, former Marion County commissioner, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.M. Brewer. A lifelong resident of Marion County, Mrs. Hinamon was born in Scott Township on September 8, 1852, one of 10 children of James H. Foos and Rhoda Lindsay Foos, both natives of the county. Her marriage to Mr. Hinamon took place in Claridon Township on September 30, 1875. His death occurred on April 17, 1917. Mrs. Hinamon was a member of the Likens Chapel Methodist Church which was disbanded in connection with building of the Scioto Ordinance Plant in April, 1942.
