Charles Robert Martin, age 73, Stilwell, KS passed away May 19, 2015. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children's Memorial Lutheran Church, 5001 Independence Ave., Kansas City, MO 64124. Charles earned a B.A. degree in math from the University of Kansas in 1965. His career spanned 35 years in professional computer sales. He was a task-oriented individual that excelled at problem solving. Charles enjoyed golf, fishing, wood-working, and anything using his hands. Most of all he loved the times he shared with his grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles W. and Dorothy V. Martin. Charles is survived by his wife of 55 years, Virginia M. Martin; son Charles Scott and wife Sarah Martin, Stilwell, KS; son Jeffrey Brooks Martin, Stilwell, KS; grandsons Colby Scott Martin, Skyler Brooks Martin and Dylan Scott Martin; and extended family and friends.
