BALTIMORE CITY POLICE OFFICER
Died in the line of duty.
On January 25, 1967 Off. Baumer made an arrest of a disorderly subject. All the way to the callbox the suspect struggled with Off. Baumer and remained disorderly. Upon reaching the callbox Off. Baumer slumped and fell over dead from a heart attack. He is buried in an unmarked grave on the same plot as his parents.
He was a graduate of Patterson park High School.
