Rosary Services for Cathy Sue Eischen, 45, were 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2007 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Okeene, Oklahoma, Funeral Services (Mass of Christian Burial) were 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2007 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Okeene. Father James Mickus officiated. Burial followed in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Okarche, Oklahoma. Arrangements were by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. Cathy Sue Eischen was born March 18, 1962 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Roy L. and Shirley M. (Venable) Clymer. Following a long battle with cancer, she passed away October 31, 2007, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Cathy grew up in Tulsa and moved to El Reno to finish her senior year. She graduated from El Reno High School in 1980. She attained her Bachelor's degree in English Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1985. Cathy married Pete Eischen on June 3, 1983, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in El Reno, Oklahoma. In 1984, she and her husband moved to Fairview, to start a new business and raise a family. Cathy was instrumental in the Fairview Meals on Wheels program in Fairview for 23 years. She was proud of her role as a wife, mother, and volunteer. Gardening, scrap-booking, cooking, singing, piano and waterskiing were some of her passions. Many hours were spent at the lake with her family. Cathy was a great confidant and counselor to her family and many friends. Cathy belonged to St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Okeene. She was a charter member of the Mu Gamma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, a coordinator for Meals on Wheels and a member of the PEO. Cathy is survived by her husband, Pete; son, Jeffrey J. Eischen; and daughter, Megan L. Eischen, all of Fairview; parents, Roy L. and Shirley M. Clymer of Enid, and brother Scott Clymer and wife, Tara of Edmond. She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Lori Clymer. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Meals on Wheels, Fairview Hospital Foundation or O.M.R.F.-Cancer Research. Fairview Funeral Home Inc will serve as custodians.
