Danny and his friend, James Eugene Glass, were lured away from a religious rally in December, 1970, by serial killer Dean Corll and helped by David Brooks. Danny and James were brought by serial killer Dean Corllto his apartment. They were both were strangled. Their bodies were found August 8, 1973, in Corll's boat shed.
