Mr. David Allen passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2008, he was 37.
He was born in Waxahachie on September 26, 1970 to parents Clifton Allen and Willie F. Martin Allen. He graduated from Ennis High School in 1989. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from ETSU and from Kansas University, a Master of Music Degree.

In May 1998 he married Keli Aman and they made their home in Houston. He was employed by Quail Valley Middle School as Band Director for one year. He taught private music lessons for ten years.

He is survived by his wife Keli Allen of Houston; his mother Faye Allen Rimmer and her husband Melvin of Ennis. One brother Donald & his wife Melonia Allen of Frankston, TX. And sister Delores and her husband John Rhodes of Waxahachie. Two nephews Chad Hart and Donald K. Allen Jr.; and one niece Renee Hart.

He is preceded in death by his father Clifton Allen in August 1997 and one sister, Diane Lene Allen in 1962.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd in Keever's Chapel at 10am. Rev. Gary Johnson will officiate under the direction of JE Keever Mortuary. Interment will be in Myrtle Cemetery.
