Two Dallas firemen were killed while on duty early Saturday morning. A large touring car crashed into a fire truck at Main and Walton Streets. They were buried Monday with the highest honors.

Funeral services for Glenn R. Briggs, 32, fire captain of Engine Co. No. 2, were held at 10 o'clock Monday at the residence, 4003 Thomas Avenue. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, two sisters, and three brothers.

At 4 o'clock in the afternoon the funeral of John Dardeman, 30 years old, hoseman for the same company, was held from the residence, 3410 Edgewood Avenue. He was placed beside his captain in Grove Hill Cemetery.

He was married, living at Route 3, Dallas and working for Ed Clark at Hustead Farm as a farm laborer. Description medium height, medium build, blue eyes, and light colored hair.
