Elma Stevenson (b. 1883, d. 1979) was an active member of the community.

She is a 1981 inductee into the Monroe County Hall of Fame on which her plaque reads "50 years a leader and judge in 4-H, homemakers' work, founded Homermakers' Movement Owen, Monroe counties; Director Ellettsville Fall Festival; Active in Red Cross, USO, Church, Politics; Charter Member National Needlework Guild."
