KURTZ, (FALL) CHARLENE-
Passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer in September 1, 2001. She was born September 11, 1931 in Mason, Michigan. She left this Earth to be Guardian Angel over daughters; Darlene R. (Gary) Firth of Portage, MI, Melinda K. (Robert) Brown of Chelsea, MI and son William R. (Robyn) Fall Jr. of Michigan Center, MI, as well as, seven grandchildren: Heather (Kelly) Redmond, Amanda M. Firth, Joshua G.R. Firth, Bruce Goodin, Jeremy Goodin, Jason Goodin, and William R. Fall III, also her four great-granbabies; Brandon, Matthew, Jacob and Hannah Redmond, brothers and sisters; Bobby (Karen) Prince, William (Jan) Prince, Johnny Prince, Don K. (Sue) Prince, Tom (Jeanne) Prince, Sheila (Dean) Butler, sister-in-laws: Carol Prince, brother-in-law; Donald Jones, numerous nieces and nephews, and very dear friends Mary Carlson and Donna Janes. She was preceded in death by her parents; James Otis and Maggie (Smith) Prince, husbands; William R. Fall Sr and Robert A. Kurtz, brothers; Le Roy and J.R. Prince, and sister; Ola Fay (Prince) Jones.
She retired from Kroger. Mom liked shopping, garage sales, and especially doing lunch with family and friends. The best times of her life revolved around her family. She was always the #1 cheerleader at all extracurricular activities. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren always knew they had a faithful (sometimes noisy) fan.
Services will be held at the Wetherby Chapel, Tuesday, at 1:00p.m. with the Rev. Chuck Turner officiating. Internment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00p.m. at the Wetherby Funeral Home.
