William was the son of William Cloud and Phoebe Neill. On 16 Sep 1902 he married Lottie Sauer and they had two sons, Louis and Robert. For many years he worked for local stove companies and at the time of his death he was employed by the Louisville Tin & Stove Co. William died of a coronary thrombosis at the age of 61.
