Nettie was the eldest of three children born to John Jacob Wetzel and Katherine Keller. On 06 Jun 1907 she married James Albert Black and they had two children, John and Evelyn. Prior to 1930 Nettie and James divorced and she never remarried. She was a retired seamstress for the old Kaufmann's department store. Nettie died at Southwest Jefferson Community Hospital at the age of 93.
