Robert was the son of Robert Bientz and Rosa Kissel. He was a veteran of World War I. About 1923 he married Elizabeth Comley and they had two children, Robert and Dorothy. He was a retired brass finisher for the American Radiator & Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Corporation. Robert died of a cerebral hemorrhage at his home, 1102 S. Shelby Street, at the age of 65.
