Clarence was the son of Hermann Korfhage and Elizabeth Frederick. On 15 Sep 1926 he married Helen Von Bokern and they had five children: Lois, John, Gerald, Clarence and Glenn. Clarence and Helen ran the old Korfhage's Grocery at 1924 Preston Street.
