Nora was the daughter of James Osborne and Polly Stamper. About 1897 she married Lewis Comley and they had seven (and possibly more) children: James Everett, Raymond, Eva, Lyman, Paul, Shirley and Martha. Nora died of bronchopneumonia and a pelvic abscess at Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 83.

Mrs. Nora Osborne Comley, 83, of 123 Wilton Ave, and widow of Lewis Comley, died at 6:30 p.m. o'clock last night at Good Samaritian Hospital after a short illness. A native of Owen County, she was a daughter of the late James & Polly N Stamper Osborne. She was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William Carroll, Fairborn,OH; Everett Comley, Harrodsburg and Limond Comley, Germantown,OH; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Stamper, Lexington; two brothers, Ely Osborne, Fayette County, and B R Osborne, Lexington, and 30 grandchildren. The body was taken D. M. Lowe Funeral Home. Published in the Lexington Herald April `9,1959 and shared on Ancestry, May 2017.
