Graveside services for William Arts, 89, of Paducah will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Father Brian Roby will officiate.

Mr. Arts died at 3:49 p.m. Monday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.


He worked for G&O Drugs and was retired from Modine Manufacturing Co. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.


He is survived by one sister, Margaret Turner of Paducah, and one niece, Margaret Welborn of Terre Haute, Ind.


He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Albert and Margaret Neihoff Arts.


There will be no visitation.
