Sought Death in Corn Crib - Howard, Scott living 1/2 mile no of the County Home hanged himself at an early hour this morning. He was discovered by his stepson hanging from a beam in the Corn Crib. No reason can be given for the act. He had attended to early chores as usual and it was only when the body was found that the reason for his absence was found. He had tied the rope around his neck and then to a beam and kicked a basket from beneath his feet. The Coroner was notified and left at noon for the scene of the hanging. He was a cousin of T.S.
