He was a farmer for most of his life and also a custodian for the Northwestern Lehigh School District, 1960-72. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Isabell (Reed) Romig. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fogelsville.
