Harold Ralph "Sonny" Hickoff, 82, died August 23, 2010, in the Lancashire Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster, PA

He was born June 29, 1928, the son of the late Harold O. Hickoff and Viola Catherine Hickoff.

Harold graduated from Duncannon High School in 1950 after serving honorably in the U. S. Navy 4 years. He was employed as a bank teller in Long Beach, California for approximately 10 years until he and his family moved to Camp Hill, PA. Later they moved to Colonial Park, a suburb of Harrisburg. He retired from Pathmark Grocery Chain Store after 20 plus years.

Surviving him is his first wife, Coralyn Greco (mother of his three sons) and his present wife, Judy Hickoff; his sons are, Steven C. Hickoff of Flagstaff, Arizona, Mark A. Hickoff of Mechanicsburg, PA, and David N. Hickoff of York, PA. He also had two step daughters and one step son, they are Claudine Rowley, Michelle Wealand and Michard Raihl. Harold has two surviving brothers, Roger R.
Hickoff of Duncannon, PA and Neil A. Hickoff of East Berlin, PA and a deceased brother, Gilbert A. Hickoff. He has 6 nieces and 3 nephews.

Harold was an avid runner as a young man and at the age of 65 he began running in marathons. In a period of 8 years he entered and completed 29 marathons finishing high in his age group most of the time. He was a member of the
Harrisburg Runners Club and a life time member of the New England Over 65 Runners Club. He and Judy were members of the Akron Grace E. C. Church of Akron, PA.
