Janet E. Ricker, Former Resident, Dies At 19
Janet Elaine Ricker, 19, of Berwick, former resident of Northumberland R. D. 1, and Shamokin Dam, and a niece of Mrs. Earl Longacre, 783 King street, died in the Berwick Hospital Sunday morning. Death was due to complications resulting from an attack of rheumatic fever some years ago.
After leaving Northumberland R. D. 1, the girl had made her home with her aunt, Mrs. Sarah Trapana, of Berwick. Her mother is dead and her father, Ray Ricker, resides in Philadelphia.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ruth Gemberling, of Middleburg; six brothers, Carl and Glenn, in the Navy and Army; John and Kenneth at the Evangelical Home, Lewisburg and Russell and Paul at the Hershey Industrial Home.
Funeral services will be held at Berwick Tuesday at 2 p.m. with burial to be made in Riverview cemetery.
