12 Apr 1915: Mrs. Elias Hartz, aged 69 years, the widow of the late Elias H. Hartz, died on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.S. Poorman, of Palmyra. She was the victim of dropsy. Her husband preceded her in death about ten years ago, and she was a member of the United Brethren Church. She is survived by four children as follows: Mrs. Eugene Risser of Campbelltown; Mrs. W.S. Poorman of Palmyra; Harvey E. Hartz of Kansas City; and Roger Hartz of Ft. Bliss, Texas. Funeral services will be held from the residence, 13 N. Chestnut Street, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
