Mrs. Alvarado was born May 22, 1971, in Streator, to Rick and Hilda (Villarreal) Tamez. She married James Alvarado in 1989.
She was director of nursing at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Dwight and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Streator. She was a 1989 graduate of Streator High School and received her R.N. degree from Illinois Valley Community College in 1996.
She is survived by one daughter, Kristin at home; two sons, Scott and Brett, both at home; her parents; one sister, Veronica (Tony) DePaz of Streator; one brother, Ricky (fiance' Eva Gasca) Tamez of Streator; and her maternal grandparents, Andres and Pauline Villarreal of Streator.
Age 35 years.
