Sister of my grandfather, James Emmit Deel.

Florence Virginia Deel was born on December 23, 1902 in Fisher County, Texas to George Washington Deel and Florence Emaline "Galley" Brookshire.

She had thirteen siblings: Alexander Lafayette Deel, Walter Robert Deel, James Emmit Deel, Charlie Ivan Deel, George "Henry" Deel, Birtie Guy Deel, Alley Lee Deel, Flora Lurena Deel Blount, Essie Adron Deel Ivison, Katy Jewell Deel Miller, Noel "Pete" Deel, Willie Graves Deel, and Orris V. Deel, Sr.

Her paternal grandparents were Peter Abraham Deel, III and Isabella Serena Duff and her maternal grandparents were Graves Goodrich Brookshire and Sarah Frances Bacon.

She died from typhoid fever in August of 1904 in Fisher County, Texas.
