Brother of my grandfather, James Emmit Deel.

George "Henry" Deel was born on Tuesday, March 22, 1892 in Fisher County, Texas to George Washington Deel and Florence Emaline "Galley" Brookshire.

He had thirteen siblings: Alexander Lafayette Deel, Walter Robert Deel, James Emmit Deel, Charlie Ivan Deel, Birtie Guy Deel, Alley Lee Deel, Flora Lurena Deel Blount, Essie "Adron" Deel Ivison, Katy "Jewell" Deel Miller, Florence Virginia Deel, Noel "Pete" Deel, Willie Graves Deel, and Orris V. Deel, Sr.

His paternal grandparents were Peter Abraham Deel, III and Isabella Serena Duff and his maternal grandparents were Graves Goodrich Brookshire and Sarah Frances Bacon.

He was the husband of Cora Belle Kendrick. They were married in a horse drawn buggy on September 15, 1912. They were blessed with six children: George Lavoyd Deel, Henry Louise Deel Gill, Burnis Ray Deel, Bunise Fay Deel Sisson Morykwas, James Arnold "Red" Deel, and Guy Harold Deel.

He died on Tuesday, October 13, 1970 in Dallas County, Texas. He was 78 years old.
