Attended Our Lady of the Wayside School, graduated from Arlington High School in 1978, and received a B.S. degree in communications from Southern Illinois University in 1982.
Started her career with the McCarther Foundation and then spent several years with Metrovision, as well as Snyder Communications.
She was president and CEO of Direct Response Corporation.
In 1999, she launched her own marketing consulting company, Hansen and Associates, based in Streamwood, IL.
Survived by her mother, Patricia Hansen (nee Dorian);
father, Donald Hansen;
brothers, Christopher Hansen and Jon Hansen;
sister-in-law, Susan Hansen; and nephew, Jack Hansen.
A funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Arlington Heights.
