Christopher A. Dickerson, 7, of rural LaGrange, IN died on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the home of his grandparents, Denny and Carol Northup.
Christopher was a 1st grader at Prairie Heights Elementary School and loved to play baseball and soccer. He was a member of Stroh Church of Christ.
On September 10, 2003 in Angola, IN he was born to Christopher R. Dickerson and Kristin K. (Northup) Dickerson.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Kristin Dickerson and her fiancé, Charles Ritchie of LaGrange, IN; a brother, Nathan R. Dickerson at home; his father, Christopher Dickerson of Sturgis, MI.; grandparents, Denny and Carol Northup of LaGrange, IN; a great-grandmother, Donna Northup of LaGrange, IN; an aunt and uncle, Lisa and Jacob Marker of Goshen, IN; and two cousins, Tyler Evers and Logan Marker both of Goshen, IN.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Kenneth Northup and Robert and Kathryn Pankop.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Stroh Church of Christ, 4540 S - 1100 W, Stroh, IN with Jeffrey L. Cook and Michael Hamm officiating.
Burial will be in Lake Bethel Cemetery in rural LaGrange, IN.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 2-7 pm at the church.
Memorials may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
