Mildred Strickland Bogenski was born 31Aug1909 on Long Island, NY and woke up in the arms of Jesus 23Jan2013 at the age of 103. She moved by steamer down the Indian River to Cocoa, Brevard, FL in 1916. Her outlook on life was amazing and she truly believed that laughter was the best medicine. She had an amazing mind, was a wealth of knowledge and a true joy. She saw the good in everyone, and was a mentor to many. Her life spanned more than 10 decades; she saw the invention of the auto and men walk on the moon. Aunt "Nuddie" left a huge hole in our hearts and lives, but we rejoice that she's dancing in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustas and Agnes Strickland; brothers, Kenneth and John Strickland; and is survived by nieces, Sara Fellows, Sibyle Harmon, Suzanne Horn; nephew, David Strickland; numerous greats, and many friends.
