Bertha Marie Bohlmann, 102, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Lutheran Life Villages-Pine Valley. Born December 10, 1912 in Palisade, NE, she was a daughter of the late Conrad and Elizabeth (Klein) Geihsler. Bertha was employed by Whitaker Cable in Excelsior Springs, MO for many years and was also a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Surviving are her daughter, Sharon A. (Rev. Jon) Anderson of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Deborah Kreml of Fort Wayne, Ruth (Frank) Knaperek of Fort Wayne, Jon (Vicki) Anderson of Seward, NE, and David (Dee) Anderson of Warsaw, Ind.; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, A.R. Bohlmann; son, Alfred John Bohlmann; daughter, Julia Coskey; and 11 siblings. Funeral Service will be at 6:00pm on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior. Burial at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, FL. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church or to Lutheran Life Villages- Pine Valley, Fort Wayne.
