Charles Barcia, "Uncle Charlie", passed away 19Apr2012. He was born in New Jersey on 17Mar1910. He was preceded in death by Mildred, his wife of 73 years, in 2009; and his grandson, Jason Edmonson, in 2007. Music was Charlie's passion. He had his own orchestra and his clarinet was with him until the end. He was President of both the Epicurean Club and Handicap Clubs of Broward County, FL. He was also an active member of Joe's Club in Micco, Brevard, FL. He leaves a lifetime of memories to his loving daughter, Joyce and her husband, Larry; granddaughter, Jennifer and her husband, Tim Havenor; and six great grandchildren. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, 29Apr2012, at Fountainhead Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VITAS Hospice Foundation, Melbourne, FL 32934.
