Funeral services for Victoria Michelle Foster, 16, of Corrigan will be held Monday, January 23, 2012 at 1: p.m. in the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Corrigan with Bro. Ralph Johnston, Bro. Charlie Hodge and Bro. Floyd Wall officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Corrigan.
Victoria was born April 20, 1995 in Lufkin, Texas, and passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 in Beaumont.
She was a full time student of Corrigan-Camden High School where she participated in cross country, was a member of the Student Counsel and the class treasurer, worked on the Prom Committee. She also participated in the Books with the Bulldog program and made signs to hang in the school. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Corrigan where she was active in the youth and was a Children's Church worker.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Clair "Nana" Kimmey; grandfathers, Glenn Burrous and Wells "Pops" Dear; aunt; Joanna Burrous.
Victoria is survived by her father, Joel A. Foster of Corrigan; mother, Sherri Lynn Burrous of Huntington; sister, Sara Elizabeth Foster Fann and husband B.J.; brother, Christopher A. Foster of Corrigan; nephew, John Preston Fann of Corrigan; grandmother, Patricia Dear Thompson of Corrigan; grandfather, Jerry Cockrell of Corrigan; grandmother, Joyce Burrous of Diboll, and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers: Bryan Fann Jr., Johnny Mercer, Dustin Durham, Willie Brooks, Neel Johnston, Chris Robertson. Honorary Pallbearers: Clarence Barthold, Chucky Barthold.
