Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Rudolphina Harvey, 59, who was killed in the Udall tornado, will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. in First Baptist church at Mulvane. Two of her daughters reside in Wichita.
The Rev. W.F. McKean, pastor of Mulvane First Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in Mulvane cemetery. Mulvane Mortuary is in charge.
Born Jan. 11, 1896, at Withee, Wis., Mrs. Harvey moved from Wichita to Udall five years ago.
Her husband Elbert B. was injured in the tornado and is in a Winfield hospital. The couple was married April 14, 1915 in Guymon, Okla.
Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Baptist church in Hennessey, Okla., and of the Royal Neighbors .
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Harold C. Dayhuff, Mrs. Byron H. Boydson, of Wichita, Mrs. Joe S. Matrinez, Udall, and Mrs. Harold P. Gilbert, Solomon, one brother, Lewis Schwenke, Guymon; and six grandchildren.

Anna Rudolphina Harvey was one of the victims of the worst tornado to hit a town the size of Udall, Kansas (population 610) in U.S. history. The tornado hit the town at 10:29 pm on May 25, 1955, killing 77 people and injuring 270. Almost all property, houses and automobiles in the town were damaged or destroyed. From the time the storm crossed U.S. Highway 166, the tornado path was nearly continuous and stretched for over 50 miles. This same storm produced an earlier tornado that struck Blackwell, Oklahoma, killing 20 and injuring 250.
