Clarence Pifer, 39, resident of Port Huron 20 years, died Wednesday afternoon in his home, 503 Erie Street. After a long illness. Mr. Pifer was born in Fremont Township, Sanilac County, Oct. 16, 1902 He is survived by his wife Pearl; a son Clarence Pifer Jr., three daughters Betty, Violet, and Bernice all at home; a brother Roy Pifer, Port Huron, six sisters Mrs. James A Wofe, Mrs. John S. Neil, Mrs. Richard C. Moses, Mrs. Ford L. Kitely, Mrs. Earl J. Bechtel, and Mrs. Elmer D. Sharette, all of Port Huron, and several nieces and nephews. The remains are in the Arthur Smith Funeral home, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday. The Rev. J. A. Kelley, pastor of Free Methodist Church, will officiate.
