Mr. George D. Clark Sr., 83, of 8773 Metcalf Road, Avoca, died Tuesday, May 28, 1991 in Marwood Manor after a brief illness. He was born May 7, 1908 in Port Huron and was a life long area resident. He married Beulah Wolfe on October 6, 1928 in Port Huron. She died June 4, 1977. Mr. Clark retired in 1969 from Muller Brass Company after forty-four years of service as a foreman. He also worked for Marine Corp. league for thirteen years as a bartender. Mr. Clark was a member of the Fort Gratiot Lodge 374 F. &A.M. and Moose Lodge #158. He is survived by five sons, Mr. & Mrs. James (Joanne) Clark, Mr. & Mrs. Clifford (Coralee) Clark, all of Port Huron, Mr. & Mrs. George (Nancy) Clark Jr. of Spokane, Washington, Mr. & Mrs. Edward (Sharon) Clark of Port Huron, Robert Clark of Detroit, two daughters, Mary Irene Gay, and Bessie Clark; a daughter in law Cindy Clark, all of Port Huron; twenty grandchildren, six step grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, thirteen step great grandchildren; three sisters in law & brothers in law; many nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Ed Hutton. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 1991 in Pollock Randall Funeral Home, Port Huron. The Reverend William Wager officiated. Burial was in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township, Pallbearers were grandsons, Carl & Eugene Gay, James, Dean & Brian Clark and Warren Brockitt. Honorary pallbearers were Warren Brockitt Jr., Daniel Gay and George Clark III.
