Born Oct 5, 1903 in Peck, Michigan. He married Hazel Ellen Kiteley Sept. 24, 1923 in Port Huron. She preceded him in death Oct. 20, 1982. He was a farmer in Elk Township most of his life.
Survived by one daughter, Mrs George (Verna Belle) Mumby, Sandusky; four sons: Orville, Bruce, Donald Bennett, all of Sandusky; Wayne of Saginaw. Sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by one son, Ronald in 1928, four brothers, Elmer, Norm, James and William. Four sisters, Edith Bennett, Addie Proctor, Verna Woodard, Millie Harding.
Services were held Saturday, Apr 8 at the Hacker Funeral Parlors by Rev. Mark Morningstar, Pastor of Sandusky Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Elk Township Cemetery, Peck.
