One of my fourth Great Grandfathers (six generations back).

According to Shenandoah Valley Pioneers and Their Descendants he was a son of George Peter Barr. However, other research shows that he was the son of James Barr (1753-1838)and Rachel Ross (1756-1790), and that James was the son of George Peter Barr.
