Vincent A. Addesso, 78, of Reedy Road, Whitfield, died Oct. 28 at 2:20 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient six days. He was the husband of Madonna B. (Biegalke) Lovelace Addesso. Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Sebastian and Agnes (Tucherone) Addesso. Addesso was employed for 35 years as a supervisor by Carpenter Technology Corp., retiring in 1985. He attended the Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute. An Army veteran of World War II, Addesso received two Purple Hearts. He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Addesso was a past president of the Berks County Guild of Craftsmen.
He is also survived by four stepdaughters. Other survivors include a brother; and a sister. There are also seven stepgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J.
