Mrs. Laura Steininger, wife of Ira C. Steininger of Redlands, died at the Oregon City Hospital Tues. evening, after an illness of several months. The body was taken to Molalla this morning, where funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Snyder, pastor of the Methodist Church. Interment will be in the family plot in Adams Cemetery. Mrs. Steininger was a native of Nebraska and a Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Carpenter of Molalla. She was 22 year of age, survived by two Children, her Husband and Parents, three Sisters - Mrs. Carl Gray of Oregon City, Mrs. Edward Anderson, Miss Maude Carpenter, and a Brother - Orville Carpenter of Molalla.
Laura Lavina (Carpenter) was my Great - Grandma and passed away before I was born. She married Ira Carl Steininger, and together they had a Son named Donald (Don) Ira Steininger and a Daughter named Laura (Marie) (Steininger) Hardy.
