Mary Elizabeth Stefursky 100, of Eynon, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 peacefully in her sleep at Laurels Assisted Living Residence, where she had been a resident since 2002. She was the widow of Johnson J. Stefursky, who died in 1980. Born in Eynon, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Getzy Martin. She was employed for many years at the Eynon Dress Factory. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's of Czestochowa Church, in Eynon. She loved to crochet and enjoyed making beautiful handmade quilts for her family and friends. Mary was a loving mother and will be missed by her family. She was preceded in death by five brothers; John, Stephen, Michael, Thomas and Andrew Martin. The funeral will be Wednesday from the James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St. Peckville with mass at 9:30 at St. Mary's of Czestochowa Church, Eynon. Interment St. Cyril's Cemetery, Peckville. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 9PM.
