Jane Owens, 100, a resident at St. Mary's Villa Nursing Center and formerly of Moscow, died Saturday morning. She was the widow of Edward J. Owens, who died Feb. 12, 1992.

Born Jan. 6, 1912, in Eldorado, Ill., daughter of the late John R. and Elizabeth Cunningham White, she was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and had worked at the Scranton Lace Co., Scranton, and the Popular Science Book Club, Old Forge. She was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Scranton.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane E. L. and husband, Ted, Moscow; a granddaughter, Elizabeth, Kingston; a grandson, Andrew, Philadelphia; and a great-grandson, Francis.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Isabel Petrosky; and three brothers, John, Alex and Robert White.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church St., Moscow. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.

Friends may call Tuesday, 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Villa Nursing Center, 675 St. Mary's Villa Road, Elmhurst Twp., PA 18444; or Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, South Abington Twp., PA 18411.
