Norma J. Kasprowicz, 86, of La Salle died at 11:25 p.m. June 19, 2013, in St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick Church, La Salle. The Very Rev. Antonio Dittmer, pastor of La Salle Catholic Parishes, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery, La Salle.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Monday in the church. Hurst Funeral Home, La Salle, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kasprowicz was born Aug. 25, 1926, to Edwin O. and Lyla (Jackson) Ochs. She married Raymond J. Kasprowicz on April 10, 1947, in St. Patrick Church.

She attended St. Patrick's School and La Salle-Peru Township High School. She worked at the Mental Health Center, now known as North Central Behavioral Health Systems, for 17 years and retired in December 1995. She was a member of St. Patrick Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Mary Kaye (Robert) Washkowiak of La Salle; two sons, Gary (Kathy) Kasprowicz of Utica and David (Christine) Kasprowicz of Peru; one grandson, Scott; two granddaughters, Casey and Anna; one great-grandson, Clive; two stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn and Josh; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 13, 1997; one brother, Edwin E. "Lefty" Ochs; and one son in infancy.
